The 2012 Honda CR-V is finally being unveiled, but it will only be available, to start, in Japan. Since Honda is a Japanese car company this makes sense, but Honda Gallery is still excited to have the new CR-V make it over to the U.S. soon.
The latest information from Honda states that there will be two variants of the 2012 CR-V. The base model will have 2,0 liter engine that can generate 150 hp and earn 33.9 mpg. The next model up will crank out 190 horsepower with a 2.4-liter engine and all wheel drive. With the bigger engine the MPGs dip just a bit to 27.3 mpg.Even though Honda is releasing the 2012 Honda CR-V in Japan first, it will eventually be coming to the U.S. Several auto show attendees have already seen concept versions, but the actual production version will differ slighty.
"The edges of the grille that cut into the lights and look like they are holding the chrome slits have been blacked out and the lower part of the front bumper is completely change," according to Auto Evolution. "We're pretty sure this is what the European version will look like as well."1While we wait for the official U.S. release of the 2012 Honda CR-V, come down to Honda Gallery on 88-98 Walkers Brook Dr. in Reading, MA 01867 to check out all the latest Honda models.
