It's a known fact that Honda tries very hard to keep photos of unreleased models under wraps, but in a strange turn of events, photos of the new Honda CR-V have appeared online. The best part, though, is that the photos are official.

The photos were actually posted on the Honda web site and feature the same concept model that was available for public viewing at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The most prominent changes we noticed were a re-designed front end. The lower front bumper is now a wraparound and the side sills are much more pronounced. The headlights are slimmed down and the rear of the car still remains light and aerodynamic.  

"The Japanese firm is also claiming an all-new, more spacious interior with a lower floor for improved load-carrying ability," according to a report by AutoCar.¹

Engine details are limited, but expect some variation of a 2.0 Liter four-cylinder engine, capable of producing around 148 bhp. Improved fuel efficiency and fuel economy have also been promised by the auto maker.
